Pusat PERMATA Kurnia (GENIUS Kurnia) is Malaysia’s premier, government-run early intervention centre dedicated to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Managed under the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), the landmark facility in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur focuses on providing evidence-based education and therapy to prepare special-needs children for mainstream school systems.

Full Profile:
Established as a cornerstone initiative under the national Bahagian PERMATA, Pusat PERMATA Kurnia stands as ASEAN’s first purpose-built government facility designed specifically around sensory-friendly and autism-inclusive architecture. The centre utilizes naturalistic teaching methods and transdisciplinary group efforts to deliver high-quality, comprehensive early intervention.

The main program prioritizes active parental involvement, working alongside specialized educators, psychologists, and intervention officers. Through customized therapy, communication tasks, and independent daily living training, the institution aims to maximize the long-term potential of young children with autism while heavily driving public awareness, professional training, and community acceptance across Malaysia.
